Lara Dodo Consulting Inc. is committed to providing accessible services to all clients and members of the public, including people with disabilities. This statement outlines our commitment to accessibility in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

1. Our Commitment

We are committed to treating all people with dignity and respect, and to providing services in a way that takes into account individual needs. We strive to remove and prevent barriers to accessibility in how we communicate, provide services, and interact with clients.

2. Accessible Customer Service

In accordance with the AODA Customer Service Standard, Lara Dodo Consulting Inc.:

  • Welcomes clients with disabilities and will communicate in ways that take their needs into account

  • Allows assistive devices, service animals, and support persons during any consultations or proceedings

  • Will make reasonable efforts to provide services through alternative means if a client's disability creates a barrier

  • Will notify clients promptly if a service or facility is temporarily unavailable due to reasons related to accessibility

  • Welcomes and responds to feedback about how we provide accessible services

3. Communication and Information

We are committed to providing information in accessible formats upon request. This includes:

  • Offering to communicate by phone, email, or in writing based on the client's preference

  • Providing documents in alternative formats (such as large print or digital text) upon request

  • Allowing additional time for consultations or proceedings when needed to accommodate a disability

4. Virtual and Remote Services

Lara Dodo Consulting Inc. offers mediation and arbitration services virtually and remotely, which can significantly reduce physical access barriers. We are pleased to accommodate clients who prefer or require remote participation and will work to ensure virtual platforms used are accessible and easy to navigate.

5. Website Accessibility

Our website (adrbylara.com) is hosted on Wix and we are committed to making it as accessible as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA standards where practicable. If you experience any difficulty accessing content on our website, please contact us directly and we will provide the information in an alternative format.

6. Service Animals and Support Persons

We welcome people with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal or support person. If in-person meetings take place at a third-party location, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that location is welcoming of service animals and support persons as well.

7. Training

All individuals providing services on behalf of Lara Dodo Consulting Inc. receive training on Ontario's accessibility standards and the Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities. Training covers how to interact with people with various types of disabilities, use of assistive devices, and how to respond to accessibility-related requests.

We welcome feedback on how we provide accessible services. Feedback helps us identify barriers and improve our practices. You may provide feedback by:

  • Providing documentation in accessible formats upon request

  • Offering remote participation options as a standard accommodation
